girlfriend?

I have known this person for 9 years now, and we've bee friends for about
the last 5. Sine we've become friends, there has always been sexual
tension between us, and we even dated briefly at one point, but it didn't
work out because he was in college, and I was in high school. Then when I
went to college, I found a boy who I dated for about 3 1/2 years so I
wasn't available for that time. Now, me and me ex are broken up, and I'm
really starting to like my friend again, BUT of course now he has
girlfriend. I know things aren't super great between them, but I have no
idea how long they'll drag it out. I know he is physically attracted to
me, but I wouldn't do anything with him before he's single. What to do? I
know how bratty this question sounds, but I have been waiting to get with
this guy since I was 13, and now i'm 22. it's been a long wait.
